If Patterson and Lucas decline and Morris bolts... the Cats will be struggling to find the surface.

UK was going to have a so called down year next year anyways. It was time for a change guys. We might struggle next year but look how fast a Donovan or a Calapari or a Huggins (in the making) or a Pitino built a team back up. We just have to get the right guy.

I see no reason to think so. If they hire a coach early then we can still get recruits. Rondo left because him and tubby didn't along, with a new coach we could be better relationships. Look at Bill Self at Kansas, his star players have stayed, and I'm pretty sure Izzo's playeres have stayed as well. I say another NCAA tournament appearence next year, it'll be a skeptical year though!

 

Not a good example there! His star players are yound and are sophomore, and well what was Rondo when he left, thats right he was a sophomore. I say there is a good chance that Rush will be gone who is just a sophomore, and maybe even a couple of other guys would leave too...

Not exactly true. From the sounds of it, we were going to have Lucas and Patterson here next year. Because they called Mcdonalds and told them to cancel their dual committment at the game, which with that happening today now after Tubby left, is a pretty good sign that they were going to announce they were going to come here. So with them coming here, and if we could have SOMEHOW got Morris to stay, then next year could have been a GREAT year...
