LexCath VS Althoff Catholic (Illinois)

The conference that Althoff plays in, the South Seven, is generally a weak football league. Other than Cahokia, the competition is usually sparse. Marion, however, had a big year and looks to be putting things together.

 

The point is that Althoff doesn't get tested very often against competition the caliber of Lexington Catholic.

Belleville is just southeast of St Louis, about 45 minutes closer than St Louis..

 

 

So Althoff is in Belleville? If that is true the I may have to go to this game and watch my old high school team. Its about 20 miles from st. louis by the way. At least its around that from what I know when I take 64 between Lexington and St. Louis.

 

 

.....and then I realize this is a Bluegrass Bowl game.....bummer

They dont have their own stadium and when Mayfield played them it was at a Catholic HS within visual distance of St. Louis skyscrapers only a few minutes out of St. Louis
