Someone posted in the "updates" thread that NDA was really missing having Tierney and JACKSON today in thier state tournament loss???

What happened to Jackson. Hope this was a misstatement?

Anyone know?

Congratulations to PCC. Survive and advance. Hope to see you make to Saturday night.

The highlight I saw on Channel 5 showed her in the game. She's #13, correct?

Yeah, and I noticed on the stats that she played 13 or 14 minutes. So she wasn't out hurt. I also noticed that she went 0/11 from the field, so if she wasn't sick before the game, she may be now.

She is a great player, but just like any player that relies on an outside shot, there are games when the ball feels like you are shooting a beach ball on a windy day. It appears the entire team didn't shoot too well (30 something percent but 89 percent from the charity stripe.)I guarantee that Casey contributed on the defensive end.

She's got two more years to work on shooting beach balls.

I did see that Kirsten Delph (another really good soph) picked up the slack for Casey. They (Kirsten and Casey) have played many AAU and select games together, so it is not the first, nor will it be the last. Good sophomore combo for NDA.

Anyway, thanks for the update...

I believe that Jackson was sick before the game with a very high fever. She did not play near the minutes that she normally did nor the production...

This was the only forth time all season that NDA allowed more than 60 pts they were really hurt big time on the defensive end with the loss of Katie T.

That makes sense because someone also mentioned a player be under the weather with a high fever.

Unfortunate for Casey and NDA.

What is the injury update on Katie T?

Congrats PCC.

What is the injury update on Katie T?

She will be re evaluated on monday when the team returns back home. As of now the team is saying that it is a partial tear of the ACL but not confirmed yet

I hate to hear that. So many athletes are suffering injuries. That is a lot to ask a high school kid to handle. Best wishes for a good report Katie!

I am so glad that she does have another year to come back to. Even though it is going to take alot of work for her to get back to be able to play competive ball in just 7 months. She is such a great girl to watch and is a total class act...

Unfortunately after Thurs. game Casey went to urgent care with a very high fever (103). Went to the shoot around on Friday and got very ill again. She started but the coach pulled her early. It was a hard way to end a great season. But there is always next year.

Should be a fun 9th Region totally up for grabs.

And on a personal note I wish the best of luck to Drees and Dickman. Two very classy girls with very classy families. I for one will miss you guys immensely.
