The Cards will have to take care of the ball and hit the boards hard, especially on the offensive end. In big games like this, easy buckets make the difference.

Shelvin Mack, arguably their best player is a junior. Jarod Jones and Stephon Lewis are both seniors. Tough shoes to fill next year!

Well, tonight is the night... Here are my thoughts going into the game:

 

Mackey and Walls need to dominate the smaller guards from Creek.

Jimmy Warren's ball pressure on Spalding will be a big key

Portwood's jumper will determine if TC can focus totally on Walls and Mackey or not. He's the difference maker - when he brings his A game.

Shot selection could do in the Cards.

 

When it's all said and done - I'm putting my $$$ on Matt Walls to get the job done. He won't let them forget the regional finals the last two years. They'll be ready. GO CARDS!

Gee, I hope not. Champ Ligon has done a heck of a job at Bryan Station. Does anyone remember how horrible the basketball program was at Station before Champ arrived.

 

As a side note, Champ had been hired by Billy Hicks to be the assistant coach at Scott County. Just before school started Bryan Station offered Champ the head coaching job there.

I just think when you are talking about a top 5 team in the state returning all there starters(I believe) that they will take over. I think Scott County is going to miss Matt Walls more than people realize.

Agree they have many players who will be given there chance next year with 3 full time starters coming back and also tyler portwood...Some one will have to pick up the heart and soul of the team that Walls gives them but the talent will be there..Also it depends on what your definition of dominating is, they did beat everyone but i dont call it dominating winning by a few points IMO its not dominating, they have controlled the 11th though:D
