Had trouble with Bath? What game were you watching? Bath made a run in the 4th but as soon as Russell started to play again they took control quite easily.

 

When your lead dwindles to 8 in the 4th quarter - you had some trouble. They're lucky they had such a comfortable cushion.

Comfortable cushions are more than just luck. This team has turned it on and off all year. They will be just fine.

I think both of these teams are better than Ashland. The regular season match ups would suggest that as well.

The Wizard of Westwood had Ashland beat in regulation of the first round of districts, if not for two unforced freshman turnovers in the last minute.

 

Of course, in all fairness to that freshman, he was the player of the game and will be a force to reckon with for years to come.:thumb:

Then dodged another bullett in championship game, and gets good regional draw.... When things like this happen it usually leads to a deep state tourny run. Whoever wins the 16th should be favored in their game against the 15th.
