Clay Vs Cumberland Predictions

36?

I could very easily see a score that low.Two of the best defensive teams in the region.Cumberland played a game in the All "A" this year at Richmond VS Hazard and got beat 35-34 or 36-35.

Cumberland has some guys that can fill it up though. I'm still taking Clay, they can't be stopped driving to the basket.

If there is a defense that can stop the Clay drive it's Cumberland.Brock Leisge is one of the best defenders in the region and if he somehow gets beat the offense has gotta find a way to do something when the long center Desmond Johnson meets them in the lane.

Has all the ingredients to be a dandy. If Clay doesn't step up their level of play, they will be dismissed by the Skins.

Cumberland. 10+

NO way. Clay will be ready to play. and can really get it done when the time comes. alot of people will be suprised, when the tigers and cards meet.

Cumberland by 7 if they stay out of bad foul trouble.

I hope that Cumberland wins, and I think they can, but for some reason, I can't go against Clay in this one.

If the Tigers and Cards meet, I would at least give some consideration to rooting for a Tiger victory. It would probably be the first and last time for that to be the case. But it would be wonderful to see Corbin pound the hapless Tigers again in the title game.

I think most Tiger fans would LOVE to have a rematch with Corbin.. I dont think the 2nd time around they would be any pounding...But I just dont think Corbin can get past Bell and Clay can not get past South..So I say we will not have a 2nd matchup this year...

I would say you are probably right. Corbin(if Pineville doesn't beat them) has a better chance against Bell than Clay against the Cards, though.

Are you guys writing off the Skins in this battle?

Math, I usually respect your opinion and I fully understand your hint of sarcasm in most posts, but I do not think even you can deny the Tigers and Hounds have both had great seasons. I think the unbiased regional fan would see that both teams are young and that both have battled hard to win 20 games this year. With that said, have you witnessed the two previous Corbin vs Pineville games? How about the Clay vs Cumberland matchup earlier in the season? I personally watched the two Corbin games but failed to make the trip to Keith gym to watch the Skins and Tigers play. Corbin and Clay are two of the top notch programs in the region and I can guarantee the players on both of these teams will play with all their might to advance past the first round of the tournament. Pineville and Cumberland are both fine teams as well. Depth and the home floor should aid the Hounds. Clay Co and Cumberland will be a grind it out kinda game. I had earlier picked the Skins to win and I stand by that, but it would not shock me to see the Tigers win as well.
