South Laurel is going to win the region!

It looks like the 3 teams who have really seperated themselves is SL, Bell, and Corbin.

South Laurel has been there and done that, but they dont have a lot of offense past their 1st 4 players. They only had 4 players score last night.

Bell is the most athletic team in the region. They are definitly capable of winning this region, but sadly we have had the most talent numerous times in the past 25 years and not won the region.

Corbin is young, exciting and dont know no better than to get out there and play hard. They are getting better and better.

I look for a possible Corbin/South regional final.

I will predict South Laurel will win the 13th.

I predict that if Corbin can make it to the final game against South thenn South will be sitting in London while Corbin heads to Rupp.... Corbin is a hard place to play..and the hounds are getting better every game....

I agree most home courts of good teams are hard to play at, so why would Corbin not be in the finals. This being the case, games usually dont work out the way it looks like it should on paper, strange things happen. It should be a fun tournment but in the end South, IMO will be going north on I-75.

The only objection I have is to change 52th to 52nd.

South is the obvious favorite. But if they have to play Bell and Corbin back to back nights the lack of intensity they have had may catch up to them. Both teams have the ability to beat south.

SL is an experienced, veteran team that knows when to turn it on and off. If you think they will be playing w/out intensity in the tourney, well …
