Hopefully the AD and Coach O' Hearn will beef up the home schedule with at least some competitive games next year or you'll hear crickets in The Fieldhouse.

Not nearly as many home games as last year (some home-and-home series are away this year I guess), among this year's home games are Brossart, Montgomery County, Ashland, Madison Central and Lexington Catholic. Not necessarily the Royals' fault that other 10th Region teams are down at this point in time.

 

Word has it that Miller will be showcased via an extremely competitive schedule next year; no details on home games @ The Fieldhouse.

Bad thing is from my understanding papa most of these games are set as road or neutral sites not home.

It just seems like The Fieldhouse over the years during the regular season is badly underused. Have only been to 1 home game this year(Lex. Catholic),seems like that big of a venue would be attractive to big in state,as well as out of state teams. Don't understand why OJ Mayo teams,as well as others have never set foot in Mason County.

I wont put names out there because nothings concrete yet.Should be a fun 07-08.

So like out-of-state teams?

Very impressed with Mason. Miller seemed to have an average night, maybe because he didn't play much due to the score. Right now I'd put Mason as the 3rd best team in the state behind Scott Co. and Ballard.

 

Did Harrison County have grade schoolers or freshmen playing? Those kids looked awfully young and hadn't developed physically. They did try hard though.

Would be nice if the Royals were in the Beach Ball Classic Christmas Tournament in South Carolina. Same tourney Scott Co was in. I say that because not only do you get some of the best teams in the country, BUT they televise all the winners bracket games live on the internet.

 

Too bad we can't have that with the KOB or 5/3rd.
