6A South Warren (6-2) at 6A Daviess County (1-7)

 

Time to do the laundry Spartans!  What do I mean by that?  South will wash, rinse and repeat each district game; they will each be uneventful blowouts.  They have already blown the doors off Christian County 42-0, Meade County (56-0) and Central Hardin (56-0).  Time to make it a clean sweep in the district with zero points given up over those 4 games.  My question is will any district team score on South NEXT YEAR?  I’ll say yes to that one, but ONLY Christian County and maybe only in mop up time.  Just the facts. 

Game Preview

On player highlight for South, JR RB Jamir Boards has had a great season with 81 carries for right at 500 yards and 7 TDs on the ground with another team leading 22 receptions for just over 400 yards and 8 TDs on the year.  The young man has over 40% of South’s total TDs this season.  Well done! 

For Daviess County, I’m not sure what to tell ya.  Just go for it, you have nothing to lose. 

For South, you continue into your schedule where you will running clock from here into the playoffs IMO.  The South coaches must find a way to keep focus up and progressing forward because the big 6A teams at the end aren’t going backwards.

Agreed. I’m hearing from others that BG and Christian County will be playing in the next cycle as well.
