We are in unfamiliar territory for the Flyers the last few years. They're sitting at 3-4. And just lost to Spencer County where they gave up 55 and likely will now be the 2 seed within the district.

Grant County is 0-7 and in search of their first win. They are led by Camden Johnson as a passer, and he's also their second leading rusher.

Will Grant find their first win? Or Franklin County get their first district win?

Total mismatch!

Franklin Co. 49-14.

Franklin got their first district win against Shelby Co. However County should get the 2 seed. These past 4 years of going undefeated in the regular season spoils a fan. Next year the path to a district championship becomes more difficult as County moves to 5A. But no the less should be 🏃🕰️ the next two games if county does what they should, should get them back in the win column and some confidence before the making the drive out west against a tough Bowling Green team.

Grant County will still be winles.

Bump.

Grant received and starts at their own 45. Man I count 7 in pads on their side line. I didn't realize their numbers were that low.

Fumble on the play. Noah Coleman with the recover. 1st down the GC 44

Knox Barrett breaks two tackles on a 24 yard run. Ball on the 3

Knox Barrett up the middle for 3 yards. 10:58 left in the 1st

GC 0

County 6

Nick Dunmire in on offense and bulldozes his way in the endzone for a TD. 2 point conversion good. 10:00 left in the 1st

Grant 0

County 14

Knox Barrett to Joe Montgomery for the TD. 7:43 left in the 1st. Franklin has a ton to figure out, Grant is in shambles. I feel for the Grant Co program. I'll just update the score no need in doing play by play.
