Timmy Emongo (ATH, Scott County)

Is there a better RB in Kentucky than Timmy Emongo? He had another huge night against Collins and what separates Emongo from most RBs is he is as strong in the 4th quarter as he is in the 1st quarter. His sustainability over a game compares more to a video game than real life for most RBs.

Timmy Emongo for Mr. Football, anyone?

Doing as much as anyone. BG and Collins are his only 4 quarter games. He absolutely torched BG on the same 3 concepts.

Has anyone seen the run against Franklin with the stiff arm into making 5 guys miss and going 70 to the house?

From Mr. Emongo's X Feed:

And from the Mr. Football Watchlist:

Emongo bided his time while Collins' defense was determined not to let him beat them. He did anyway, with the lion's share of his 170 yards and four touchdowns coming in the second half, including a signature sweep late in the fourth quarter that served as the nail in Collins' coffin, with Emongo gripping the hammer.

Top 5 IMO. He needs Scott County to win it all to beat Brown as it sits right now but he is in mix. Fantastic football player.

I think I agree Scott County probably needs to win it all for Emongo to win the Mr. Football award. That is probably unfair but it is the same way for most players in contention each year.

Could be a run like Isaac Dixon had for Belfry a few years back.

I know he has worked HARD to put himself in position to have a great senior year. His workouts to improve explosiveness are. Insane and have really paid off so far this season. There are times when he changes gear and leaves whole defenses in the dust.

If I had a vote it would be for Timmy.
