Owensboro Catholic comes into this one riding the momentum of a big 35-7 win over Owensboro after a score of 63-41 against Apollo the week before. Bardstown presents a different challenge, but the Aces have shown they can score in a variety of ways with Dre'Mail Carothers directing the offense. Catholic should be favored at home, but Bardstown will have to find a way to slow down a team that is playing with a lot of confidence right now.

I think the Aces win comfortably in this one but maybe by not as much as they could. The first 4 weeks have been Boyle and the three city schools. Regardless of how good any of those teams are, and I think a few of them are pretty good, that takes a toll on you. My guess is that this is a catch your breath type of game and the Aces don't dominate like they should.

Bardstown up 12-7

Aces have looked kind of uninspired so far. I figured it would be this way but you can see the frustration from Coach Morris on the sideline.

OC struggled to get off the field on defense, giving up quite a few 3rd down conversions. The offense moved the ball well but turned the ball over twice.
