I know Marion County, but DuBois is a team to watch. They have some talent

QB Brian Dickerson is a talented young man.

I'd call them a sleeper in 2A. Maybe not quite ready this year, but a program on the rise for sure.

They will be dangerous in 1A next year.

Definitely have my eye on Du Bois for when they play Danville later in the season, that's for sure!

I saw them in Week 1 against Louisville Holy Cross. You could tell the talent was there but they shot themselves in the foot all night long. It was their first game in the new stadium and playing a good opponent, so it was understandable, but my crew all left that night thinking that if they get things straightened out they can be really solid. Looks like that is happening.

In the coming years, as in next year and two years from now, WEB DuBois will pull talent away from other JCPS schools like Male, Manual and Ballard, and even a few kids that might look at private schools in Louisville.

What are their enrollment/size plans? Right now they are 2A and dropping to 1A next year. They may pull some talent, but is the school designed to have a larger population?
