🐉 (2-1) vs. 🇸🇻 (3-0)

🗞️ | Fighting for respect, unbeaten and unranked LaRue County welcomes Green County to Hodgenville.

The Hawks returned all but four seniors from last season. They've run roughshod over the competition so far, including a running clock beatdown of Elizabethtown last week. The Dragons were slain by West Jessamine in Week 1, but have bounced back with consecutive wins.

Last year's game ended in a 36-35 win for the Dragons, who won in spite of themselves after committing five turnovers.

✏️ 📖 | The recent series history trends Green County's way, with the Dragons taking eight of the last nine from the Hawks.

Pre-season if you asked me, I would've said Green but Larue is making a believer out of me. Green is physical, so if Larue can match the physicality of Green and contain the run game, I think Larue wins.

If Green has 5 turnovers this year they will get clocked. I think LC wins by 2 to 3 scores.

7-0 Green County

21-20 LaRue County

8:20 3Q

Touchdown Green County. 2-pt conversion is good.

28-21 Dragons

3:43 3Q

Wide open touchdown pass for Green County. Sounds like busted coverage on LaRue.

35-28 Dragons

6:43 remaining

Great one going down in Hodgenville.

36-35 LaRue County

1:00 to go

Green County with the ball at midfield.

FG attempt coming from Green County....it's no good.

LaRue needs one knee to seal it.

Flipped the score from last year.

36-35 Green County last season. 36-35 LaRue County this season. What a coincidence.
