If you compare teams against each other Bardstown barely got past Elizabethtown and Larue Co. completely destroyed them I'm not saying I'm just saying.

I'm on record as saying the gap between #3 and about #13 in this class is about a centimeter thick. Teams like Larue, Bourbon and Hart are on the outside right now but I think they could compete pretty far up the rankings here.

I think the top three are where they need to be. 4-7 is a coin flip. After that, I think it falls off.

I think Bardstown and Central can be in that group by the end of the season.

I'm surprised everyone is so high on Murray look they are a good team no doubt but everyone is acting like they are part of the top 3 and everyone else is not in the ballpark I'm not sure I believe that they lost a lot last year and have been good this year but not dominant Graves is a very average at best team and that was a close game for a long time. I think it's CAL and then maybe Lexington Catholic and then I don't think there's a lot of difference in probably the next 10 or 12.

No difference in 3-15???? That's a lot of teams put together. I haven't seen Glasgow play but I hear they have a really good team offensively. Lloyd is playing solid and will only get better as the year goes on.

Murray is different this year. They lost a lot of production from last year (Offensively). They looked sloppy vs Graves in week 3. Last year, when they had Wyatt Robbins and Co, Murray scored 48, 50, & 32 vs Apollo, Calloway, & Graves, respectfully. This year, they've won 58, 59, and 25. So last year, they averaged 43 pts their first 3 games. This year, they are averaging 47!

I will say two things about this Murray team. 1. When you play the Tigers, strap up your chinstrap because they are a real physical team. OLine and DLine is where their strength lies. Everyone is back on both sides of the ball. 2. When their Qb gets comfortable and consistent with the offense, they will become a real dangerous team.

I look at 3A like this.

  1. CAL (it's not even close)

3 steps down

Lex Cath & Murray. Their game last year was an instant classic!

2 steps down

Lloyd & Glasgow. The Scotties will have to play one of the above in the 3rd round, if not CAL. Lloyd should play the winner in semis. Both of these teams will get their change to prove they belong in the 2/3 conversation.

Then everyone else.
