6A matchup that could be a possible first round playoff matchup. Daviess County comes in playing a brutally tough schedule (Logan County, OCath, Owensboro) that isn't the best recipe to start with a young team. Daviess County comes into this one allowing 52ppg on defense and 6.6ppg offensively. But those first three games were on the road and now they get the friendly confines of their home opener.

Christian County comes into this game off a 47-28 victory over Tennessee Class 1A #2 Ranked McKenzie in McKenzie, TN last Friday night. The Tigers are 1-2 with a close loss to Cooper (28-21) and a competitive loss at mayfield in week 2 (49-32). The Tigers allow 35ppg while scoring 33.3ppg.
