Mayfield gets their second win over the Eagles this year as Jeremy Rodgers poured in a game high 21 points as the Cards run the table in the always tough 3rd district 6-0 and will be the #1 overall seed in the 3rd district tournament to be held at Ballard Memorial. The regular season sweep over Graves County is the first in 15 years so congrats to the coaches and players from Mayfield and heres hoping that they can continue their good play through the district and regional tournament.

Congrats to Mayfield. I love to see them beat Graves and Alan Hatcher twice in one season. Good luck in the districts and region. Hopefully, Mayfield will make it to Rupp since they didn't make it to Richmond.

Congrats to Mayfield - that's a big win!

Congrats to the Cardinals. Great win!

Controlled the whole game...Nice sweep for the Cards...looks like an undefeated district season!

:thumb: Cards win 3rd District Regular season title with perfect 6-0 mark. Now will look to carry that into the District Tournament at the Green Palace of Ballard Memorial. IF St. Mary beats Ballard tonight then Mayfield will take on Ballard Memorial in the opening game of the tournament while Graves County the #2 seed will take on #3 seed St. Mary. The Vikings of St. Mary could be a dangerous #3 seed especially with Jonathon Roof back in the lineup this week. He scored 20 in his return Tuesday night and could be what the Vikings need to get past Graves County in the opening round. Should be a fun game to watch. Hard to believe that tourny time is just ten days away.

Go CARDS!!!
