Hey Everyone!

Over the next couple of weeks we will be upgrading our software to the latest version.  This is a big jump up, some things will function different, and we know it will take some getting used to.  One of the biggest changes is signing in with your display name (username) has been removed from the software (for security reasons) and all members will be required to sign in using the email address on their account and their password.  So, if you don't know the email address associated with your account or can't access that email address any longer, you will need to update your account email address very soon so the sooner you do it, the better off you will be. 

For an email address change:  Click on your display/username in the upper right corner, then in the Settings Menu choose Account Settings, then choose Change email address.

This is all FYI only and if anyone needs support once we upgrade, I will be available to help you.

Beyond all that, expect BGP to be "down for the upgrade" sometime over the next couple of weeks.  We will probably be down several hours (or as much as a day or two) because this is a big upgrade.

I got lucky and was able to get logged in using my old college email that I typically check once every 3 or 4 years.

Our BGP email, [email protected] is working now. If you sent a request over the last few days, please send it again.

Remember everyone, you HAVE to sign in to your BGP account using the email address on your account and your password. You are no longer permitted to sign in using your username.
