I don’t know him or anything about this situation but the verbiage seems odd to me? Appoints?

Anyone else?

I thought it was odd verbiage too but I stuck with what they announced.

LINKNKY did a nice article on the hire, there is a lot more there but on experience:

Bowman brings 20 years of coaching experience with him, most recently as a girls assistant at Conner. Prior to that he was the head coach of the Ludlow girls team in 2024-25 and the Boone County girls head coach from 2017-21. He also has stops at Cooper as an assistant for the boys team, the JV boys coach at Conner from 2012-16 and the JV boys coach at Ryle from 2011-12.

To me he moves around a lot and I wonder how long he will last at Cooper.

He has a nice smile. I hope he maintains that smile in practice, in games, and in the locker room. The first time that smile turns to a frown and that voice gets a little louder, he will probably receive the same fate as the previous coach.
