Steelers, LB Nick Herbig agree to four-year, $100 million contract extension. The Steelers invested heavily in franchise legend T.J. Watt last year, handing him a three-year, $123 million extension, and have already dedicated four years and $68 million to Alex Highsmith in a deal signed in 2023. With Herbig's $25 million per year salary now included, the Steelers have dedicated $83 million per year to just 3 defensive players.

According to Adam Schefter, it’s a stunning number for a player who hasn’t been a full-time starter in the NFL, but that’s also what makes this deal so interesting. Herbig is believed to be the first non-quarterback to surpass $100 million without starting an entire NFL season in his career.

Way too much for a player who has yet to play an entire season. Good job Steelers! ?

There has been talks all offseason they might trade Highsmith.

New coaches, new attitude and new Superbowl! Here we go!

Jalen Ramsey is already out with an injury. Steelers are dropping fast.

As the Steelers reported to Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, McCarthy revealed that Rudolph will be getting QB2 reps to start camp, while Howard and Drew Allar will split time at QB3. Not good for Howard and Allar.

Steelers are fine and had a great practice yesterday! Here we go!

Interesting that it looks like Joey Porter Jr. is not happy and according to Adam Schefter is holding his own hold in and is not really injured as Mike McCarthy said.

Porter and Ramsey have both been practicing on the sidelines getting back to 100 percent typical skip training camp stuff. No worries.

What is going on with the Steelers and Joey Porter Jr? He has still yet to practice this summer. Today McCarthy says they are at an impasse. Also one again the Steelers have the most expensive defense in the NFL coming in this year at $203 million.

They are getting ready to trade him for a bunch of draft picks.

A bunch of draft picks for a guy who is middle of the pack and has never been an all-pro or even made a pro bowl as easy as those are to make now of days. That is wishful thinking.
