That was a catch! New York should call and not force the Ravens to throw a challenge flag. I still do not understand why they do that sometimes and others they do not.

I will open by saying that I think spitting on another person requires more than a 1 game suspension.  The league certainly needs to look into that.

Any sort of verbal or physical altercation with a fan should call for a really stiff penalty.   I, for one, don't particularly like attending NFL game, and I am very hesitant to take my kids to one, because they are not family friendly.  Too many irresponsible drunks and wannabe tough guys.  If you have to be concerned about the players getting belligerent, where do you go to feel like someone wants you there?
