February 9, 200719 yr Indiana Purdue is a huge rivalry in all sports not just Basketball. Duke UNC are only good in both basketball's and other sports they suck so how can the rivalry be that heated when they don't compete in anything else. You are trying to trash the Duke and UNC football programs and your example is Indiana/Purdue??? :lol:
February 9, 200719 yr They are 8 miles away form each other! Its almost like a high school rivalry with that proximity to one another. I'm sure many of the students know each other. I know the ballplayers know each other. Then there is the "snob" factor that goes into Duke, like so many high school rivalries have. Its a great rivalry, especially in basketball.
