St. X (7-3) will host Southern (2-8) in the first round of the KHSAA 6A Playoffs. St. X is coming off a 42-6 win over Madison Central and Southern is coming off a 21-20 win over Jeffersontown. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
 

They last met in the playoffs in 2022 where St. X won 53-0.

This will be another running clock game that is common for the first round of the playoffs. The winner gets the winner of the Bullitt East/North Hardin game in the 2nd round.

This will be a running clock either late 1Q or early 2Q. St. X JV team will probably score. Southern only has 33 players listed on KHSAA roster. I hope both teams make it through the game with no injuries.
