colonel-fan
A case could be made either way. I would say the bottom 3 of the SEC (SC, LSU, MSU) are better than the bottom 3 of the Big12 (Baylor, ISU, Colorado).
bugatti
Great minds think alike, GT. I was on my way to work today and was thinking about starting a similar thread this evening... I got to thinking about the Big 12 and how I would not want to face Texas, Kansas, A&M, et al. come tourny time.
bugatti
Funny to think one of LSU's 13 wins came off of a thumping of A&M.
fieldhousekrayzie21
The Big 12 is not even close to the SEC.

I wasn't sold on the Big 12 at first, but they are playing some very good ball at the top and middle this year. Couple that with the collapse of the SEC West and I think it's a great debate... fieldhousekrayzie21
Based upon??? We'll see come March when there is 4 SEC teams in the Sweet Sixteen. The Big 12 will have 2 at most.
C-A-T-S
Well all I have to say is the "worst" team in the SEC beat the "best" team in the Big 12...
C-A-T-S
Thats what i'm basing mine on...and I don't want to hear the " it was the beginning of the season" stuff, because it is what it is...

Just a quick example of how weak this argument is... Last year the Big East had 4 Sweet 16 teams compared to 2 from the SEC. I'd say the SEC will take the end result...
