Tied up 21-21 at the half, Boyle pulls away at the end. The Rebels finish 8-0 at the JV level on the season.

West Jessamine is pretty solid in the JV, Freshman, and middle school programs right now. Good win by Boyle County!

Gutty performance by the JV kids. Jhet Raleigh started Q to begin the year, now we know what he’s doing on Friday nights. Merrik Cornelius got inserted in who’s the freshman Q and did well till he got hurt against Male in the win in the road. Sophomore Peyton Leffew who hadn’t played QB since 8th grade stepped in and picked up the last two wins on the year. Fun group to watch!

West Jessamine Freshman QB is the real deal. Wonder if he stays at West or moves elsewhere.

Merrick is the real deal also, not only as QB, but a total football player. Shame that he got the ankle sprain. Boyle fans will enjoy watching him the next three years.

I think Merrick is a D1 baseball player, I could see him just playing baseball in the future. I hope not because he's a good football player.
