I have been thinking about the whole cupcake schedule. Lloyd went out and scheduled Conner 5A Aiken, Ohio division two and Campbell County 6A. So I’m certain the strength of schedule went up this year and I believe Lloyd has improved. The question is has Bourbon County improved that much from the last two years scores against Lloyd with that same starting quarterback? I don’t think so!

      Lloyd started 7-0 in 2023. Prior to that, their last 6-0 start came in 1995 when they won 12 in a row before falling to Breathitt County in the state quarterfinals.

    Wasn't my choice of words. @theguru tied you into the Cupcake isle lol. Quite a few people wouldn't have thought that this scenario would have played out like this back in May or June. I can't say I thought Lloyd would be 6-0. And I am not sold on the fact that NCC, Conner, Aiken, and Campbell County are bums. Newport might have more respect than them all right now. Football in general in NKY hasn't been the most foreseeable. But I like what I see.
