Bullitt Central will travel the the 16 miles on 44E to Mt Washington this Friday to take on the Bullitt East Chargers.  BC has not beaten East since 2018 and I really don't expect this season to be any different.  I will say that I believe this is the best Bullitt Central team in the last few years.  

Bullitt East come into the contest with a record of 1-2 after besting North Bullitt by a score of 44-14.  BC enters the contest with the same record after beating Breckinridge last week for their first win of the season.  Central is led by QB A.J. Lee who is a good football player.  He is a Jr., but has started for Central since his freshman year.  

East should take care of business this year to secure the "Bullitt Cup" once again but Central might make it more of a challenge that it has been recently.

Agreed.  There is still a large gap between BE and the other two Bullitt County schools.  BE should win 4 of their next 5 for sure.  I'm thinking they'll finish the regular season 6-4 and then probably matchup with North Hardin in the 1st round of the playoffs.

My nephew is dressing for this game tonight for BEast. He is freshman qb, and if it is indeed a blowout, he should get some playing time.

I think BE should quit playing them at this point. Too much of a mismatch.

Thanks to some nice passes from Centrals AJ Lee and 4 stupid 15 yard penalties by East, Central is forced to attempt a short fg the is blocked. East takes over.
