Hazard is coming off a tough road loss against a good Prestonsburg team who many didn’t give a chance to beat Hazard. Hazard will look to rebound this week against Breathitt County who sits at 2-1 on the season with a loss on the road at Middlesboro. This is a matchup that Hazard needs to win in my opinion. Breathitt County has had there number for 3 years in a row. Hazard also can’t have another 1/5 red zone performance again this week. This game has been decided by 2 points each year except 2023 when Hazard wasn’t Hazard. Breathitt County won in 2022 29-27, and in 2024 21-19.

Who wins this 1A vs. 2A matchup? Does Hazard rebound and get that much needed win over Breathitt County? Does Breathitt County come to Hazard and give the Hazard its second loss of the season and its 4th win in a row over them?

Should be a good one!!! Just hope the refs let the players and coaches decide this one.  Both teams are pretty evenly matched.
