Raiders prefer a runny Yoak ? | East’s offense runs (literally) through the legs of Landon Yoak. The bruising back known for laughing off arm tackles also has nimble feet. It was all on display in Week 1 as he rumbled for 215 yards against Belfry. He was nearly the entire offense last year against Boyd County, running for 105 and both Raider touchdowns.

OH ➡️ KY | Boyd County has spent the season’s first two weeks touring southern Ohio. The Lions return victorious after defeating Gallia Academy and Rock Hill by multiple scores each. Fairview transfer Jace Manning took the reins at quarterback against Rock Hill and engineered a commanding performance, throwing for 256 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 15/26 passing. He's filling the large shoes of Rhett Holbrook, who accounted for 300+ yards of total offense and three passing touchdowns against East Carter last year.

Series History ?: Tied at 8 apiece. East won the first three, followed by seven straight for Boyd. East won the next five before the Lions won, 36-14, last year. 

I think the Raiders will have trouble defending Boyd County’s passing game.  The Lyons take the series lead this year. 

I think this is the most intriguing game in NEKY this weekend because East is well prepared through their tougher two game stretch but I would say Boyd is much more athletic than East. Boyd is not great up front and East graduated key pieces up front last year. If East can pressure Manning, I give the edge to the Raiders.
