Final in Bowling Green.

Boyle has me second guessing, I think they might have a better Defense than last years team. BE is not very impressive.

Rebels!!

Feeling pretty good where we are.  Justin has said that this Boyle team  has the most depth at lineman and strongest overall  team he’s had at Boyle.

Depth is one word I would use.  I thought Boyle looked solid everywhere.

Well, as a Rebel fan and a BE Charger fan I was hoping the game would be a little more competitive.  Was hoping for a hard fought battle between two good teams, but only one good team was on the field today.  I hope the Rebels win another 14 straight and take home title number 13.

Bullitt East has a very short time to fix their issues as they host Franklin County in 6 days.  I thought it would be a pretty tough hill to climb to upend the Rebels but I sure thought the Chargers would muster a better showing than that.  Oh well, back to work.

From what I can see this Boyle team has a chip on their shoulder.  Started after the loss to Covington Catholic.  They hit the weight room very hard and worked their tales off this spring on conditioning.  They set numerous weight lifting records and as a team this squad is the strongest Haddix has had at Boyle.    I don't think this group will take anything for granite.  From what I can tell the defense is the real deal and will carry them this season.  Really looking forward to where they stack up with LCA, Lex Cath, Highlands, Ballard, and St. X in the next couple of weeks.

One thing for sure.  Come the start of the playoffs we will know what each team has.  Boyle, Corbin. and Highlands all plays Douglas.  Boyle plays Highlands, Highlands plays Cov Cath., Corbin plays Johnson Central.   I think we will see where the East side of the State stands come playoff time.
