Please understand that this site is now private.  If you sign up for an account, you are not permitted to publicly distribute our information on message boards, social media, state/section association sites or any other website or newsletter (we're referring to copy/pasting large chunks of data as opposed to, for example, a writer mentioning a projected score on a game in an article, which is certainly permissible.

I don't see how the powers that be at calpreps have been able to provide this service for free so I definitely understand charging a fee.  With that said, I don't like the way they set that up.  When I go to calpreps it normally takes me a handful of page views to get where I want to find the projected scores and double check them.  So, I would be stuck needing the $140 option, ugh.

It seems to me they are not to accurate until about the 5th or 6th game of the season which by then I think everyone would be more accurate. I’m not in any way encouraging or discouraging anyone from getting a subscription because they have a ton of information on there I’m just saying I think that just like us it’s hard to determine how good or poor a team is until midway through the season.

This......

Don't blame them and no real issue with them starting to charge.  But if I'm paying it needs to be much more intuitive and easier to navigate.  Basically saying the same thing as @theguru.  Just using fewer sentences.

Right, I would be all for paying for this service but not at $140.

Maxpreps used the same ratings so can get the ratings on their site. Everyone of the ratings below on Maxpreps is exactly the same rating that was on Calpreps at the end of last season.

I would imagine they (old calpreps) will have to change that.
