Reds at Giants (4/7 - 4/9)

Featured Replies

The Reds are 3-7 (ugh), and the Giants are an amazing 8-1!

I am concerned this season is going to slip away from the Reds before the weather gets warm.

Reds win 2-0. Finally another great outing by Greene that is not wasted.

HG was dealing.  I missed the first part of the game.  Apparently MLB had some issue with the Nike glove that Hunter had, making him switch to another one.

Since being drafted in the first-round out of high school back in 2017, I have been openly critical about the move, and to be honest, until last year when Greene showed signs of being a consistently reliable pitcher, I've stood by my criticisms.

While it shouldn't take a MLB baseball player 7 years to mature into a championship caliber pitcher, it is what it is, and if we an get a few outstanding years from him, at least we will have salvaged something from our initial investment.

I was happy to see Francona give him the chance to pitch the complete game last night, instead of Bell lifting him after 6 and turning our fate, and his, over to our inconsistent bullpen.

Hopefully, Greene has matured into what we had all hoped that he would become.  That would give us two Championship Caliber players on this team.

I really like late west coast games.  And how about this catch, wow.

Reds win 2nd straight defeating the Giants 1-0. Nick Lodolo gets the win in a great outing where went 6 innings of 3 hits.

Reds fall to the Giants today 8-6. The Reds have a travel day tomorrow before opening a 6 game home series with 3 against the Pirates and 3 vs. the Mariners.
