If I’m the Bears I’m handing over the keys to Zeke Woodcock or Elijah Flener, couldn’t go wrong with either one of those guys. It is a very sneaky talented basketball school and I would argue some of Dockery’s teams underperformed in his time in Morgantown, nonetheless he finished out strong. Barring a Lawson Rice injury before they tipped off this season I do believe they could’ve made it back to Rupp and possibly contended for the State Championship. Happy retirement Coach!

Rice getting hurt killed them, but the way “The Human Oozie” played I don’t know how much it would’ve mattered this yr. I hate to say it, but in all my years I’ve never seen a kid be allowed to take so many terrible shots. The coach did him a disservice by letting him do it. They still had a team capable of winning that region this past yr.

When I seen them at the King of the Bluegrass it was clear his numbers were prioritized over winning and losing.

Would love to see Dustin Barnett get a shot at this job. He’s done a great job with the middle school program.
