February 2, 200719 yr My guess is that he will be suspended. He wasn't going for the ball and add that it was to the head and you've got a suspension. IMO Kobe's suspension was justifiable. It would be tough to somehow justify no suspension for LBJ.

February 2, 200719 yr Didn't see the Kobe thing but there is a difference between wrapping and throwing an elbow. LeBron's was an attempt to wrap that missed it's mark. Kobe threw an elbow. There is a difference. Wouldn't be surprised though and wouldn't have a problem with a one-game suspension of LeBron. I like seeing the NBA doing this and sending the message to the younger players that idolize the NBA stars that this IS NOT ACCEPTABLE in the game of basketball. Attacking the suspensions as not needed sends the message to the youth that those who run the NBA are some old-type fogies and throwing an elbow or clothes-lining the opponent does have a place in the game of basketball.

Skimming through the Kobe suspension thread, it seemed that the discussion in there centered around it being an elbow. Even the quotes from the ESPN articles said it was an elbow.
