One of my 4 teams I think can swing an upset on the Warriors fall @ home when the Warriors were gassed from All A run.  Not a good sign for the rest of the region.

Agree not a good sign for the 12th, but while anything is possible, I don’t think Lincoln can beat DCA.

Mercer and Pulaski probably have the best shot. And though they just obliterated Boyle, with the right officials allowing physical play, they might have a chance.

Yes, I would throw in 2 other teams.  West Jessamine (have some pieces to do it) and if fully healthy Somerset (because they've played them a ton, and generally a dog fight).

They were gassed for sure.  5 games in 6 days against some tough opponents, plus travel, etc.  And, to use a phrase I hate “the officials were letting them play….”, meaning a lot of contact.

Yeah, I watched a little bit when UK was @ half.  It was apparent to me that they looked tired.  Last night, was a great opportunity for Lincoln Co. to clip them on their homecourt.

Both coaches were T'd, correct?  Tough year for officials for sure.  They have been very "chesty".  A lot of T's being gave out.

Lincoln could have easily won the game last night, you obviously didn’t watch it.  Several calls went DCA’s way when Lincoln had the momentum.  The ending score didn’t reflect how close the game was throughout.

You keep saying now and with previous post that with the right officials and physical play from Boyle they can win games.  Does that mean allow them to foul without calling it?

I have noticed this too. You think they are being instructed to do so? They have been ejecting fans as well. It just seems to be happening more this year than I remember in the past.

LC has played them the best out of any team in the 12th Region, West lost to them by 11 with no Titus.  After that comes Danville and Somerset.  LC was down 4 points with under two minutes left in the game, and had it not been for FOUR terrible calls from the officials in the last four minutes we may have seen DCA take their first loss of the season to a 12th Region team. They handed Boyle the worst lost out of the 12th, beating them by 35 points.  Clay Pendygraft and Sawyer Robbins were studs for LC last night, they held their own against their two bigs.  Lincoln's defense held Boyd to his lowest scoring night against a 12th Region team with only 6 points, he averages 14 pts per game.  LC also held Ayiei to 4 pts, he averages 9.7 per game.  LC deserves their flowers, those boys played their hearts out, and they've had a demanding schedule as well in the past two weeks.

I will add that LC had one two many costly turnovers due to some bad passing, they will need to clean that up down the road.  This tournament is going to be a fun one for sure, anything could happen!

I think officials in all sports have been instructed to not put up with crap...as with anything, some officials can't handle this extra power!

I don't know, but it needs to be corrected.  Coaches have livelihoods on the line, and these guys need to realize that it's part of the game to argue some calls.  It's a hobby for them, and I don't care what anyone says 80 bucks to do a hour and half job is pretty good money.  They can take some criticism without affecting the game with their feelings being hurt.

LC is def. a team capable of getting it done!  They always play a hard schedule, and there is a lot of pride in that program (ESP on the homefloor).  I still have to be impressed with DCA.  A sign of a championship team is winning ugly, and they do it better than anyone.  Winning 5 games in 6 days is pretty impressive to say the least.  If Lincoln gets by Boyle (more than likely) on their home floor in the district tourney, they will be able to return home in the region and will have a good opportunity.

I agree, they're a very talented team, as they should be.  I'm obviously a bit biased, my son plays for LC, but they do deserve credit where credit is due.  LC has to come ready to play, nothing is given, only earned. It will be a tough rivalry match up once again with Boyle, but I have confidence in our boys, they're tough.
