The Commanders first drive stalls out and they have to settle for a 34-yard FG. To led 3-0 and the Eagles will get the ball. The Commanders put together an 18 play 54-yard drive that took just over 7 minutes.

What a run by Saquon Barkley on the first play takes a pitch and goes 60 yards for a touchdown. The Eagles led 7-3 their drive was a 1 play 60-yard drive that took :18 seconds. lol

Well, a huge turn the Commanders on their 2nd possession have a fumble by Brown. Then the Eagles turn the fumble into a touchdown on a 6 play 48-yard drive capped off on another Barkley touchdown this one from 4 yards out the Eagles now led the Commanders 14-3 with still 5 minutes left in the first quarter. The Commanders go 3 and out on their 3rd possession this could get ugly pretty fast the way it is now going.

That run was something, super wow factor.

Fake Punt by Washington, they needed that so bad.

My goodness Quinn goes for it on a 4th and 6 from their own 31 yard line and does a fake punt and pick up the first down.

Washington turns the fake punt into 3 points as the drive stalled at the Eagles 28-yard line and now trail the Eagles 14-6 with 14:42 left in the first half.

I really like this Commander they are not fazed by anything and just keep playing and have now scored a touchdown and are going already for 2 and it fails. The Eagles now led the Commanders 14-12 with still 7:05 left in the first half.

Philly is *almost impossible to stop in short yardage.

Eagles 20 Commanders 12

Touchdown Eagles and a penalty on Lattimore and the Eagles decide to go for 2 from the 1 yard line and it fails. The Eagles now lead 20-12 with 1:44 left in the first half. This is a great game so far and is getting really intense looking forward to the rest of this one!

That is one of the few times I've seen a team stop the Tush Push from the 1 yard line.

Why chase points when you’re already up 8?

My goodness the Commanders fumble the kickoff and the Eagles have a shot to score before the half and they get the ball to start the 3rd quarter.

I agree especially when an extra point puts you up 2 scores!

Exactly.  Both teams are chasing points early and I don’t like it.
