The Mustangs dominated the second quarter, limiting NewCath to just one field goal. The expected battle of the big men has been a bit disappointing. NewCath center Zack Kiernan scored nine points and held Brossart center Troy Cooper to just two points. Guard play has been the key to the game. And the refs have kept physical contact to a minimum. Brossart's backcourt has dictated the tempo of the game, forcing turnovers and taking care of the ball. NewCath has no answer.
