That was pass interference, the DB hooked the WR in addition to being all over him.

With that said above, I was thinking maybe the Washington QB fumbled through the end zone and that should have been Louisville ball but I would need more and better camera angles.

If that’s pass interference, every single pass play should have PI called. Every single one.

The DB hooked the WR with the DB's right hand on the WR's left, upper arm.  I think you have to call that.

Again. If you call that, every single pass play should have a PI called.

I don't know about all that, Deuce.  

I do think holding and interference have gotten out of control meaning it isn't called consistently and then you end up with something like we are discussing.

I was happy for Louisville finishing with a win. Would have liked seeing them win 1-2 more over the season but it is what it is. Hopefully the Cards have a better season next year. Go Cards!

Almost the exact type of contact happened on a play at the end of the first half in the Penn St Boise St game - no pass interference called.
