This is a really nice win for the Tomcats. Alter is a Top 25 team in Ohio right now.

Good win for Ashland! Alter has had a solid program for a long time. Love the odd border state match up by the way. Wish more schools would play these type of games.

Good win for Ashland. Alter is the defending 2A (I believe) champion in Ohio. They have two D-1 players, one going to NC State and the other to Wright State, that make up the core of three or four returning starters. The game was not quite as close as the score would indicate. Ashland was up 22 and emptied the bench with around a minute and a half to go. A pressing Alter team quickly cut into the lead. 

Zander Carter continued to make his case as a legit Mr. Basketball threat with 28 points and four steals against Alter.
