I wouldn't have had Male #1 last week because of all the injuries. Trinity beat Male at full strength.

It's too late now, but let's start one.

The parity we've seen this year in 6A is unprecedented in the six class era. Any one of the top six could beat the others on a given night, with certain matchups coming down more favorable on one side.

Manual would get my vote for #1.

They have wins over X, Douglass, Central, a beat down of South Warren, and now a comprehensive victory over an admittedly depleted Male. But at least it was comprehensive.

The loss to CAL doesn’t bother me as much as it might others. The parity I spoke of extends beyond 6A and includes the very best of a few other classes. CAL falls into that company. When the Centurions are on, they are capable of reaching those heights. Manual had an off night and got smoked by a another strong team.

When you start comparing all the scores between the top 5-6 in 6A, it's a tangled web of games decided by 10 points or less. No one separated.

Trinity is a worthy #1. Anyone that wanted to back the Rocks at #1, I probably couldn't poke holes in their argument. Too much parity, but someone had to close the show atop the polls. I would have voted for the Crimsons.
