Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime opens with the Texans at the Jets tonight.

Assuming everyone is healthy this is Joe Mixon vs. Aaron tonight.

Interesting that the prognosticators are picking the Jets to win. Stroud apparently struggles on the road and all his receivers are injured.

The Jets are 2.5 in the game.  I assume we will get a heavy dose of Mixon as long as he is healthy.

Hoping the Texans defense play good this week.

I don't like these Jets uniforms, dump the black, stick with your traditional uniform which is awesome.

The Bengals are fools for not paying Mixon and giving him all the carries when they had him.

So far so good and yes that fumble helped.

Mixon was 24th in the NFL in yards per carry in 2023. Zach Moss averaged more yards per carry than Mixon last year. Moss is better than Mixon in pass protection. The Bengals got Moss and Gesicki for what they would have needed to pay Mixon. I see why the Bengals made the moves they did.

Gesicki is one of those pleasant surprises this year.  Moss has been a disappointment.  Lots of football left to play.
