Bell County Bobcats (7-1) | Clay County Tigers (6-1)

? Bell Looks To Sew Up District Title Atop Log Mountain

• The Bobcats are four quarters from claiming the district crown they were denied on the way to last year's state runner-up. A solid one loss Clay County program stands in their way.
• Anyone who thought the graduation of Daniel Thomas might trigger a shift in Bell County's identity, doesn't understand Dudley Hilton's eternally grounded philosophy. The names and faces change, but the game plan doesn't. The Bobcats again rank among the statewide rushing leaders, paced by Kaleb Miller's 1,400 yards.
• After airing it out for a few years with Tate Rice, Clay County has embraced a similar ground and pound approach this season. The Tigers average 250 yards rushing per game, led by Aiden Carr's 813 (135 per game).
• Bell County grinded out a 14-0 win over Rockcastle County a week after Rock more or less did the same to Clay County. Bell is built for this, leaving the Tigers to face the same uphill battle they've only ever known against Hilton's Bobcats.

Series History ?: Bell County leads 15-1 all-time | The average score of the last ten meetings is 49-12 in favor of the Bobcats
