Touchdown Douglass!

Touchdown Peyton Smith on a 2 yard run to make it again a 1 score game at 28-21 with 1:53 left in the 3rd quarter.

28-21 Male end of the 3rd quarter. Male has a 4th and 10 from their own 35 to start the 4th quarter.

Douglass takes over on their own 41 yard line after a 15 yard Male penalty for hitting a defenseless punt receiver.

Douglass has to punt after the good field position and it is a short punt and Male gets the ball at their own 42 yard line after just a 15 yard punt. The Bronco defense will need to step up again.

Male drive stalls and they try to kick a 29 yard FG and the Broncos jump off side and it gives the Bulldogs a first goal that kills the Broncos.

Douglass holds on the 1st and goal after the offsides but it cost them over 2 minutes of clock time. My goodness Douglass jumps offsides again an shortens the FG by 5 more yards. It is good and Male now leads 31-21 and that probably does it. The Broncos can look at the offsides with just over 5 minutes left that gave Male a first down. You just cannot do that against great teams.

Douglass has a 4th 7 with 1:22 to play and Male leads 31-21.

Touchdown by Chenualt for a 37 yard touchdown to make it 31-28 with 1:12 to play and an onside kick.

Douglass had a shot at the onside kick and a kid from Douglass wasn't sure if it was 10 yards but could have got it but it was recovered by Male. A great game congrats to Male! It was another great game between these two programs!
