PT (6-0) at Logan County (3-3)

A week after a 2 1/2 trip to Allen County-Scottsville, Tilghman will take a 2 hour trek down the road to Logan County. Tilghman won this game 63-20 in the 2023 season.

They have 1 common opponent thus far in Allen County-Scottsville. PT won that game this last week 42-16, Logan lost when they played 41-22.

Tilghman QB Jack James said in an interview after the game Thursday night that it was a relief to get the record (Career Td Passes) out of the way as he knew there was a lot of people talking about it. He now has 147 for his career and will look to extend the record each week. He is averaging 318 passing yards per game and has 23 td's and 4 int's on the year. Tilghman has had 13 players with a reception this season and that is what makes their offense go. Whoever is open will get the ball.

Logan is led by QB Ridge Holman, who throws it for 157 yards per game and has 13 td's to 4 int's on the year. Carson Carlock is the leading rusher with 33.2 yards a game, however, they seem to hand it off to anyone who wants a turn at times. Logan County has had 21 players with a carry so far this season, I don't know that I've ever seen anything quite like that. WR Brady Hinton is the receptions and yards leader on the year with 30 catches for 377 yds and 6 td's.

Both teams played on Thursday, so they'll get the extra day to get prepped for this one.

I want to see Martels get into the mix a lot more.

Tilghman wins in a big margin. Take care of the football, continue to play hard, offense and defense both playing at a high level as well.

Very disappointed in the Cougars this season, I was under the impression they would compete in District 1 this year but they may not even make the playoffs if they don’t find a win against Hopkinsville October 18th. For this Friday night though a running clock halfway through the 2Q is on the horizon, safe travels and good luck to both teams!
