The Knights of Lexington Catholic are reeling. 0 -3 to start the year and absolutely rocked in week 3 by Corbin. The offense led by QB Matthew Kern has found a modicum of success, just not consistently. The defensive side of the ball has been much worse has they have let up 91 points the last two games. Last year their defense had six shutouts. They visit a Great Crossing team they beat by more than 20 at home last year. However, this year's Warhawks' squad is cruising, currently sitting at 3-0 with an offense that is absolutely clicking right now. I don't know if Lexington Catholic is going to have an answer for GC's Luke Ballard, who has been dominant in the run game. This is a chance for the Knights to start their turnaround. It is also a chance for the Warhawks to continue to make noise that they are legit.

This should be a good game, right?

On paper it looks like a tight game. Great Crossing will need to look past the name on the opposing jerseys and play their game.

Lexington Catholic should come in hungry after three losses, and with expectations of winning. A loss here puts them in jeopardy of starting 0-6 (Lexington Christian & Boyle Co on the horizon).
