Adam Bray and Robert Reed will be covering the Jumpers again this week for Lake Cumberland Sports. You can listen here. Audio Only. Last season SHS beat the Panthers 47-12 at Clark Field. The Jumpers need to get the offense in gear after a tough OT win vs Russell Co last week, in a game that was delayed deep into the night.  Don't know much about the Panthers but I promise this group is hungry for a vidtory after starting the season 0-2.  Airtime for this one is 7pm with KO set for 7:30.

The Somerset defense has only allowed one touchdown through the first 2 games. (Perry County Central scored on a kickoff return) Knox Central has scored 14 and 13 points in their first 2 games. I don't see this being a game where the Panthers put up a lot of points.  I'll take the Briar Jumpers 34-7. 

Tied 7-7 at halftime.  Somerset with a bunch of self-inflicted errors for the 2nd week in a row.  The Briar Jumpers have either 8 or 9 penalties at the half including 4 holding calls, one of which negated a touchdown.  Two defensive penalties contributed to the Knox Central scoring drive.  Somerset has just looked out of synch 2 weeks in a row.  The Panthers will get the ball to open the second half. 

Definitely didn't expect this game to be this close.
