The Oakland A's (56-75) travel to Cincy to take on the Reds (63-68) in 3-game series. I would think you could nab some pretty good seats for this one. The first 2 games are 6:40pm starts the Thursday game has a strange 5:10pm start.

Was going to ask why 5:10, but then I remembered that's a post game concert night.

Reds score 2 in the bottom of the ninth but fall short.  A's win, 5-4.

The good guys were in the playoff hunt until the final weekend of the ‘23 season.  I thought that could very well improve on that this time around. 

There’s still a chance. But injuries, a suspect bullpen, questionable on-the-field management, an unwillingness to be aggressive prior to the trade deadline, and (most of all) staggering inconsistency with, to draw a parallel with another sport, “situational baseball” have conspired to deliver a disappointing product on the cusp of the final month of the season. 

A's are up 5-3 in the 7th.  Friend at the game.

Reds fall again to the A's 9-6.

Mother Nature tried to cancel the game.  Even she didn't want to watch.  LOL. Too bad for the Reds the rain let up in time.

Too bad, it is so nice out tonight.

Was in a class tonight so I didn't get a chance to follow the game.  Reds won though, 10-9.

Glad we won a game!!!  Again, WORST base running team ever!!!  India holding up on that ground ball in the 9th inning seeing if it goes through with the BASES LOADED!!!  Should’ve scored easily on that!!  They just don’t get any better at things.
