The Rebels will make the 30 minute drive to Campbellsville to take on the Eagles… Last year, after a weather delay, the Eagles won the game 35-6… The Rebels lost on opening week to Green County 38-0.. Casey County is a Big Football team and Campbellsville will counter with speed..  Who gets the Win?

Casey doesn't have the size they use to have.  A very young team that will take a lot of lumps this season.  Campbellsville with a running clock.

Campbellsville 48-6.

Campbellsville in a rout.

The Eagles win 52-6.

Campbellsville by a lot.

Was going to say the same. They've had two really solid classes graduate the last two years, but the talent level looks very young in 2024. Mix in the third coach in three years (Stonebraker to Adair in '23; Rogers to Lincoln in '24). The Rebels will get better but Friday night against one of the best teams in Class 1A will be a tall order.

Bump.

43-0, seven minutes left in the second quarter… currently in a lightning delay…

Game has been called after continuous lightning strikes… Unofficial game stats:

Kase Eastridge - 2 TD’s rushing, 2 TD’s passing

Cross Watson - 3 TD’s (1 punt return, 1 receiving and 1 rushing) and a 1 Two Point conversion

Gabe Noyola - 1 TD, 1 Two Point conversion….
