If Lloyd's line is completely new, I expect Lloyd to have that QB rolling out towards the flats looking down field, or quick passes to the flats with the ball getting out his his hands quickly. NewCath has a lot to prove up front early on both sides of the ball. Should be a pretty good game.

We think it should be a pretty good game too and we included it in our Pick 5 Contest:

I think Lloyd actually loses a little bit of spunk with Sebastian at WR full time. He can't nearly throw the ball like Evans but there isn't many QBs in NKY that can. Sebastian was a very capable passer but he can't throw the ball to himself either. I think Lloyd is going to miss how dangerous he was with his legs at QB on read options, the straight QB run call and the impromptu runs he had when dropping back. With Evans injury history there is no way Lloyds coaches want him running around like Sebastian has the past 2 years and with what is being said is a completely new O line there is a good chance Evans will have to be on the move, alot. Evans is a very good athlete but the word fragile has to come to mind. New Cath is not going to let Sebastian and Evans beat them over the top of the defense I guarantee that is priority number 1. Lloyd is going to have to get the ball in Sebastian's hands in many different ways if they want production from him. I was told keep an eye out for Tyler Copeland to get his fair share of looks in the passing game because of the amount of attention Sebastian will receive from the D. Yurii Collins will be the biggest difference maker for Lloyd, if he has good numbers Lloyd pulls this one out. Also told freshman swiss army knife Colten Barger finds his way into the end zone this game as he will be slept on. New Cath is looking to out physical Lloyd and come out and punch Lloyd in the mouth, much like the beginning of the game last year but will Lloyd be able to respond in the same fashion as they did last year? New Cath has alot of hungry athletes ready to make a name for themselves and keep the respect on the New Cath football name. NCC won't be getting too fancy and they will get straight to the point to see if Lloyd can hang in the trenches. Going to be a good one at Cov Cath on a Friday night.

What player for the Breds has stood out the most this summer and up until game day?

Honestly, there are several. Personally, I am really excited about QB Miles. Dude can make every throw from inside and outside the pocket and has shown to be sneaky quick when tucking the ball. Let's see how everything shakes out when the lights come on tomorrow. A lot of people are excited to see him make plays with his arm and feet if need be.

Strong group of Senior leadership.  They have shown the underclassmen what it takes in the weight room and conditioning to be better players. A number of players have been working out on their own on a regular basis in addition to the school workouts to be ready for the season.  It shows. Tight group of kids and parents that have bought in to what it takes to be a better team. I expect this team to be physical and leave it all on the field for each other.

Who’s that one player New Cath is going to rely on this season to get that first down or make a big play? Welch was the guy it seems like for 3 years.

Anyone know if Kyron Carter is playing? Heard he has been out a few weeks with a hand injury. That's a big vacancy to fill up front if he is out. I believe he was probably slated to start boy ways. Definitely on defense.

They don't have to rely on one player as they got athletes at every skill position. Welch was the man and broke so many tackles to extend plays it was impressive to watch, and the year before that, Runyon also made plays in every facet of the game, dude was an absolute playmaker on Friday nights. I am sure Kaleb Cole will get his opportunities and rightfully so. A downhill Cole is not something opposing defenses will enjoy.
