Man, I'm in my post olympic lull where I haven't been keeping track of baseball.   I need to get back on the horse.

Do we dare start to drink the Kool-Aid again with the Reds only 4.5 games out of the last wild card slot with about 40 games to play?

Anything is possible but historically speaking, the Reds will do just enough to keep fans hopeful until it's over and they aren't in the playoffs again.
